MINISTRY OF DISPLINARY SOCIAL AFFAIRS AND CONFLICT RESOLUTION
MISSION
-To provides peaceful learning and teaching environment for the betterment of SAUT community.
VISSION
-Development of skills and knowledge of becoming good citizen to all students from family level to the national level.
MINISTRY OBJECTIVES.
To solve problems among student and educate them on the procedure to go through to seek solution by consulting leaders who are concerned before advancing to the university administration.
The ministry will cooperate with dean of students office to solve any conflict that will rise between students and lecturer’s or administration in a friendly way and writing the report about the matter addressed for cabinet discussion and the one which need to be forwarded for further implementation.
Providing guidance and counseling to students on general issues in regards to code of conducts, rules and regulation of the university so that they cannot be terminated from their studies.
To declare accountability and friendly atmosphere so as to work with the committee under the respective ministry to achieve the goals.
To bring about strong co operation among the students on social issues such as death’s, sickness and ceremony parts like marriage as long as we are living as one community in SAINT AUGUSTINE UNIVERSITY (Arusha Centre)
SUCCESSES OF THE MINISTRY Solving of different cases and problems concerning with students to student’s or student’s to lecturer’s miss understanding and no any student was terminated from studies because of any in discipline issue because the cases were solved soon after reported to the office.
On social issues the ministry has succeeded to handle many events which arise among the student such as sickness, deaths of parents/guardians, and other relatives of students as well as ceremony parts like wedding and the like to both students and lecturers.
Conducting several meetings with class representatives which aimed at educating them on disciplinary, social and conflict affairs as well as reminding them about their responsibilities and presenting challenges they encounter in their leadership.
